A hearty, creamy beef and garlic butter pasta cooked all in one pot, infused with savory flavors and topped with fresh herbs for an easy weeknight dinner.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz (340 g) pasta (penne or spaghetti)
  • 1 lb (450 g) beef sirloin or ground beef, sliced or crumbled
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet or pot over medium heat.
  2. Add beef slices or crumbled beef, cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, add remaining butter and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add uncooked pasta and stir to coat with garlic butter. Pour in enough water or broth to cover the pasta, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer.
  5. Cook pasta until al dente, about 10 minutes, adding more water as needed.
  6. Stir in cooked beef, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through and sauce thickens.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use quality Parmesan for the best flavor.
  • You can substitute ground beef or turkey for variety.
  • Ensure to stir occasionally to prevent pasta from sticking.
