- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 celery stalks, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, bread crumbs, milk, salt, pepper, allspice, and parsley. Mix well and form into small meatballs.
- In a large pot, bring beef broth to a simmer. Add the meatballs gently and cook for about 10 minutes.
- Add sliced carrots and celery to the pot and cook until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in heavy cream and simmer for an additional 5 minutes to thicken the broth slightly.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

- You can add potatoes for extra heartiness.
