Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz (340 g) spaghetti
- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream (optional for extra creaminess)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in softened cream cheese until melted and smooth. Add marinara sauce, sour cream (if using), salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Combine cooked spaghetti with the sauce, stirring to coat evenly. Mix in shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese gently.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden. Remove foil for the last 5 minutes for a crispy top.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, add more sour cream or cream cheese.
- You can substitute ricotta or Greek yogurt for a lighter version of the sauce.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
- Reheat in the microwave or oven until heated through.
