Instructions
- Start by heating a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef or turkey and cook until browned, breaking it into small crumbles. Drain excess fat if necessary. Add diced onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and garlic powder. Stir well to create a smooth, creamy mixture.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread the cooked meat mixture evenly in the bottom of a baking dish. Pour the creamy mixture over the meat, then sprinkle a generous layer of shredded cheddar cheese on top. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.
- Place the assembled casserole in the oven and bake for approximately 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
Notes
