Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Cook bacon until crispy, then set aside.
- Form ground beef into four equal patties, season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the patties in the skillet for about 4 minutes per side until cooked through.
- During the last minute, top each patty with a slice of cheese to melt.
- Toast the burger buns lightly in the skillet or oven.
- Assemble the burgers: place lettuce on the bottom bun, add beef patty with melted cheese, top with bacon, tomato slices, pickles, and the top bun.
