Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons sriracha or your favorite hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Steamed rice or cauliflower rice for serving
- Fresh green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Start by dicing the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken until fully cooked and golden brown, approximately 6-8 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, and a pinch of salt. Adjust heat to your preference.
- Pour the sauce into the skillet with cooked chicken, stirring to coat evenly. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Divide cooked rice or cauliflower rice into meal prep containers. Top with the honey-spicy chicken.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot and enjoy your flavorful, easy-to-make Hot Honey Chicken Bowl.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Use an air fryer for crispy chicken with less oil.
- Opt for brown rice for added fiber and nutrition.
