- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (120 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) maple syrup
- 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 cup (15 g) chopped fresh chives
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, maple syrup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
- Meanwhile, cook bacon until crisp, then crumble into small pieces.
- Remove the dip from the oven, sprinkle with bacon crumbles and chopped chives. Serve warm with crackers, bread, or vegetable sticks.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika or cayenne pepper.
- You can prepare the dip ahead of time and reheat before serving.
