- 1 pound (450g) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 12 ounces (340g) cheese tortellini
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 cups (480ml) chicken broth
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté garlic and red pepper flakes until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add tortellini and cook according to package instructions.
- Stir in heavy cream, cooked chicken, salt, and pepper. Cook until sauce thickens slightly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

- Adjust spice level by varying red pepper flakes.
- Use cooked chicken or leftover rotisserie chicken for quicker prep.
