  • 8 oz (225 g) of ramen or egg noodles
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1 cup sliced green onions
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in garlic and ginger, cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add soy sauce and hoisin sauce, stir to coat the beef.
  6. Mix in bell peppers and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Pour in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens, about 1 minute.
  8. Combine cooked noodles with the beef mixture, toss well.
  9. Serve garnished with chopped green onions.
