Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Pat the spices evenly onto each piece.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix honey and hot sauce. Crumble feta cheese and set aside.
- Add feta and the honey-hot sauce mixture to the skillet. Warm gently over low heat, stirring until feta begins to melt and creates a luscious glaze.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the glaze over to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot, optionally with rice, roasted veggies, or your favorite sides.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken thighs for breasts for a juicier result.
- Vegan feta or omit the cheese for a dairy-free version.
- Adjust hot sauce amount based on spice preference.
- Best enjoyed fresh but leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated.
