- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs
Instructions
- Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Place steaks in the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked to your desired doneness.
- Reduce heat to low, add butter, garlic, and herbs to the skillet.
- Spoon the melting butter over the steaks continuously for 1-2 minutes to enhance flavor.
- Remove steaks from skillet, let rest for 5 minutes, then serve with extra butter sauce drizzled on top.
