  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 whole pita bread or flatbreads
  • Fresh cucumber, sliced
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Red onion, thinly sliced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Feta cheese, crumbled

For the feta tzatziki:

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cucumber, grated and drained
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh dill or mint, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Coat the chicken evenly and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side until fully cooked. Rest before slicing thinly.
  3. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, feta, grated cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, and herbs. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Warm the pita bread using a skillet or slow cooker. Spread tzatziki, then add sliced chicken, cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, parsley, and feta. Wrap and serve.
