- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1 large egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, basil, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Form into 1.5-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, heat marinara sauce in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add baked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 10 minutes to absorb flavors.
- Garnish with extra basil and Parmesan before serving.

- Use fresh basil for the best flavor.
- You can also cook the meatballs in a slow cooker for easier prep.
