  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g of beef sirloin, sliced thinly
  • 200g of Asian egg noodles or rice noodles
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of honey or brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Asian egg noodles or rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and sauté until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add minced garlic and grated ginger; sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Cook for another minute until the sauce is thickened and glossy.
  4. Add the cooked noodles to the sauce, tossing gently to coat evenly. Return the cooked beef to the pan and mix well. Heat everything through for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot and enjoy your luscious glazed beef noodles.

Notes

  • Use thinly sliced beef for quick cooking and maximum tenderness.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey or brown sugar to taste.
  • Keep the heat high enough to sear the beef quickly without burning the sauce.
  • For added crunch, top with crushed peanuts or chopped crispy shallots.
