Ingredients
Scale
- 200g of beef sirloin, sliced thinly
- 200g of Asian egg noodles or rice noodles
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon of honey or brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Asian egg noodles or rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and sauté until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add minced garlic and grated ginger; sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Cook for another minute until the sauce is thickened and glossy.
- Add the cooked noodles to the sauce, tossing gently to coat evenly. Return the cooked beef to the pan and mix well. Heat everything through for 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot and enjoy your luscious glazed beef noodles.
Notes
- Use thinly sliced beef for quick cooking and maximum tenderness.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey or brown sugar to taste.
- Keep the heat high enough to sear the beef quickly without burning the sauce.
- For added crunch, top with crushed peanuts or chopped crispy shallots.
