- 3/4 cup buttermilk

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.
- Add cold butter cubes and cut in with a pastry cutter or fingers until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in cheddar cheese, crab meat, parsley, and buttermilk just until combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

- For extra flavor, mix in finely chopped chives or scallions.
- Serve warm with lemon butter sauce alongside for dipping.
