Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Cooking oil for frying
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
- Slider buns or mini sandwich rolls
- Fresh lettuce or slaw for topping
Instructions
- Cut the chicken into small, bite-sized pieces or strips. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Set aside.
- Dredge each chicken piece in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat cooking oil in a skillet or deep fryer over medium heat. Fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar, and honey if using to make Bang Bang sauce.
- Spread the sauce over the fried chicken pieces.
- Assemble sliders by placing the coated chicken on buns, topping with lettuce or slaw, and covering with the top bun. Repeat for all sliders.
Notes
- For extra crunch, double coat the chicken and fry it until crispy.
- Use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a healthier, tangy variation.
- Reserve some sauce for dipping alongside the sliders.
- Serve immediately for the best crispy texture and flavor.
