Irresistible Bang Bang Chicken Sliders are a snack sensation combining crispy fried chicken with a spicy, creamy Bang Bang sauce, served on soft slider buns with fresh toppings. Perfect for parties, weeknight dinners, or game day, these flavorful sliders are easy to make and guaranteed to impress.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 8 sliders

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Cooking oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • Slider buns or mini sandwich rolls
  • Fresh lettuce or slaw for topping

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into small, bite-sized pieces or strips. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Set aside.
  2. Dredge each chicken piece in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat cooking oil in a skillet or deep fryer over medium heat. Fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar, and honey if using to make Bang Bang sauce.
  5. Spread the sauce over the fried chicken pieces.
  6. Assemble sliders by placing the coated chicken on buns, topping with lettuce or slaw, and covering with the top bun. Repeat for all sliders.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, double coat the chicken and fry it until crispy.
  • Use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a healthier, tangy variation.
  • Reserve some sauce for dipping alongside the sliders.
  • Serve immediately for the best crispy texture and flavor.
