- 1 pound fresh strawberries, sliced

- 1 box sponge cake or ladyfingers
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate shavings
- Optional mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Cut the sponge cake into cubes.
- In a clear glass bowl, layer sponge cake, whipped cream, and mixed berries.
- Repeat layers until the bowl is filled, ending with whipped cream and berries on top.
- Sprinkle with chocolate shavings and garnish with mint leaves.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, add a layer of chocolate sauce between the layers. Use seasonal berries for variety. Serve chilled for best taste.
