- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add sliced onions, bell peppers, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender.
- Pour in beef broth and simmer until slightly reduced, about 5 minutes.
- Place slices of provolone cheese over the beef mixture and cover until melted.
- Toast hamburger buns lightly. Spoon the beef mixture onto the buns.
