- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups beef broth
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add the beef to the slow cooker along with diced onions and minced garlic.
- Pour in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, and seasonings. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, add the uncooked pasta and stir. Cover and cook until pasta is tender.
- Adjust seasoning as needed. Serve hot garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
- You can use ground turkey or chicken for a healthier variation.
- For extra flavor, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce or hot sauce.
