- 1 pound beef stew meat, cubed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cups potatoes, diced
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 celery stalks, sliced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add beef cubes and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add diced onion and cook until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add potatoes, carrots, and celery. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Return beef to the pot. Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until beef is tender and vegetables are cooked, about 30 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute beef with ground beef for a quicker version.
- Adjust the spice level with more smoked paprika or chili flakes.
