- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté until translucent.
- Add ground turkey, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from heat.
- Arrange a layer of sweet potato slices in the baking dish. Top with half of the cooked turkey mixture. Repeat layers.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until sweet potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy!

- You can substitute with ground chicken or beef for variation.
- Adding a splash of hot sauce or red pepper flakes makes it spicy.
