Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups of Tater Tots
- 1 lb ground beef or chicken, cooked and crumbled
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent. Add ground meat and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked meat, cream of mushroom soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until smooth.
- Spread the meat mixture evenly in the baking dish. Layer the Tater Tots on top and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until Tater Tots are golden and crispy. Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for extra crunch, keeping an eye to prevent burning.
