- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar; let sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and flour to the yeast mixture and knead until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough and let rise in a warm area until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Divide dough into 12 equal pieces and shape into balls. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, prepare garlic butter by mixing melted butter with minced garlic and chopped parsley.
- Brush the baked rolls with garlic butter while warm and serve.
Notes
- For softer rolls, cover with a clean towel as they cool.
- You can add grated Parmesan cheese on top before baking for extra flavor.
