Ingredients

- 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, sliced thinly
- 2 bell peppers (red and green), sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and a little water. Set aside.
- Heat one tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add beef slices and cook until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Add remaining oil to the skillet. Sauté garlic and sliced onions until fragrant and translucent.
- Add sliced bell peppers and cook until slightly tender.
- Return beef to the skillet. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and vegetables. Toss well to coat and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot with steamed rice.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken or tofu for beef if preferred.
- For extra spice, add crushed red pepper flakes.
- Serve with steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
