- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 package crescent roll dough
- 1 egg, beaten
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, chopped cranberries, sugar, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Unroll crescent roll dough and cut into triangles or rectangles.
- Spread a spoonful of cranberry cream cheese mixture onto each dough piece.
- Roll or fold the dough over the filling to form bites and place on prepared baking sheet.
- Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Garnish with herbs if desired and serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- Feel free to add a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg to the filling for extra flavor.
- Can be prepared ahead and baked just before serving.
