Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds of beef bite-sized pieces (sirloin or chuck works well)
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Optional: red pepper flakes for a spicy kick
Instructions
- Start by seasoning your beef bites with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary. Toss them well to coat evenly.
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the seasoned beef until browned on all sides. Transfer to the slow cooker.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and add minced garlic. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant, then pour over the beef in the slow cooker.
- Cover and set the slow cooker to low. Cook for 4–6 hours until the beef is tender and infused with garlic butter.
Notes
- For added spice, sprinkle red pepper flakes during cooking or serve on the side.
- Feel free to adjust garlic quantity for more pungency.
- Use different cuts of beef suitable for slow cooking for varying textures.
