Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (15 oz) package of Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
- 8 oz (roughly 1 cup) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
Optional for decorating: melted white chocolate or caramel sauce, chopped nuts, sprinkles.
Instructions
- Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor or put them in a resealable plastic bag and crush into fine crumbs.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos, softened cream cheese, and pumpkin puree. Mix thoroughly until smooth and sticky.
- Using your hands or a cookie scoop, form the mixture into small, bite-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate the formed balls for 30-60 minutes until firm.
- Melt white chocolate or caramel for dipping and decorate the truffles with chopped nuts, sprinkles, or drizzle additional chocolate for a festive finish.
Notes
- You can adjust the amount of pumpkin for desired consistency—less for firmer truffles, more for a softer texture.
- Add a pinch of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice for added fall flavor.
- Chill the mixture before forming into balls for easier handling.
- Use high-quality Oreos for richer flavor and better texture.
