- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 sheet pizza dough or pre-made crust
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Optional: sour cream and hot sauce for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper or lightly greased.
- Cook ground beef or turkey over medium heat until browned. Stir in taco seasoning and a little water as directed. Simmer until thickened.
- Spread the pizza dough evenly over the sheet pan, shaping it to the edges.
- Spread cooked meat evenly over the dough. Sprinkle generously with shredded cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from oven, top with lettuce, tomatoes, olives, and green onions. Slice and serve with optional sour cream and hot sauce.
Notes
- For a crispy crust, pre-bake the dough for 5 minutes before adding toppings.
- Feel free to customize toppings with jalapeños, cilantro, or avocado.
