- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, egg, bread crumbs, and green onions.
- Mix well and form into 1-inch meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and browned.
- Meanwhile, prepare sauce: in a saucepan, add soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and water. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Toss baked meatballs in sauce or serve sauce on the side. Garnish with sesame seeds and additional green onions.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of sesame oil to the meat mixture.
- These meatballs can be cooked on the stovetop in the sauce for a softer texture.
