- 1.5 pounds beef sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef pieces and brown on all sides, then transfer to slow cooker.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and cook garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour garlic butter mixture over beef in the slow cooker. Add salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours until beef is tender and flavorful.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of beef broth or balsamic vinegar during cooking. Serve with steamed vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
