- 4 large apples, sliced
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- Optional: chopped nuts or extra caramel for topping
Instructions
- Layer sliced apples in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg over apples.
- Pour caramel sauce evenly over the apples.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the caramel layer.
- Drizzle melted butter over the top of the cake mix.
- Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours until bubbly and cooked through.
- Serve warm, optionally topped with more caramel or nuts.
