- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
- Add beef chunks and brown on all sides, then remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté onions until translucent.
- Add garlic, paprika, caraway seeds, and thyme; cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in tomato paste and cook for another minute.
- Return beef to the pot, pour in beef broth, and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours until beef is tender.
- Season with salt and pepper, serve hot garnished with fresh herbs.
