These turtle bars combine a buttery crust, rich caramel, and smooth chocolate topped with chopped pecans for a decadent dessert treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, and powdered sugar. Press mixture into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake crust for 10 minutes until set and lightly golden.
  4. Spread caramel sauce evenly over the baked crust.
  5. Sprinkle chocolate chips over caramel, and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes until chocolate is melted.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle chopped pecans on top. Let cool completely before slicing.
