Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground meat over medium heat until browned. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano. Drain excess fat if necessary, then stir in the marinara sauce. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread the meat sauce evenly in a baking dish or oven-safe skillet. Top with sliced peppers, onions, mushrooms, and sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with freshly chopped basil or parsley before serving.
