- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.
- Place chicken in the slow cooker and pour chicken broth over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Remove chicken and set aside. Mix flour with heavy cream until smooth.
- Stir the flour mixture into the slow cooker juices and cook on high for 10-15 minutes until thickened.
- Return chicken to the gravy and heat through. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute heavy cream with milk for a lighter gravy.
- Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
