Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and thyme. Sear each side for about 4-5 minutes until golden. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly. Add Parmesan cheese and cook until sauce slightly thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
- Return chicken to the skillet, nestling into the sauce. Cover and simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes until cooked through and tender. Serve garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
- Make sure not to overcook the chicken to keep it tender and juicy.
- For a thicken sauce, add a little more Parmesan or simmer longer.
- You can substitute heavy cream with Greek yogurt for a healthier version.
