- 1 lb boneless chicken thighs, cut into chunks
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in garlic and ginger, cook for 1 minute.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until browned.
- Pour in tomato sauce and spices, stir well.
- Simmer for 10-15 minutes until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens.
- Stir in heavy cream, cook for another 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken thighs with chicken breasts for a leaner option.
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less garam masala and paprika.
