Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Pour in chicken broth or white wine and simmer for 2 minutes to deglaze the pan.
- Stir in heavy cream and butter; simmer until sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve shrimp over prepared mashed potatoes, garnished with parsley and lemon wedges.
