- 12 oz (340 g) of sweet Italian sausage, sliced
- 8 oz (225 g) of pasta (penne or spaghetti)
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet or pot, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add sliced bell peppers and garlic to the same pot; sauté until peppers are tender.
- Return sausage to the pot, add Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper; stir well.
- Add pasta and enough water to cover; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, simmer until pasta is cooked and water is absorbed, about 10-12 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream, cook for another 2 minutes to combine flavors.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

- Adjust Cajun seasoning based on spice preference.
- You can substitute sausage with sausage links or chicken for variation.
