- 1 pound potato gnocchi
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large pot until crispy, then remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add butter and sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
- Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Stir in gnocchi and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Lower heat, then add heavy cream and shredded cheddar, stirring until cheese melts and soup thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper, then garnish with crispy bacon before serving.

- Use full-fat heavy cream for a richer flavor.
- Gnocchi can be replaced with store-bought or homemade versions.
- Top with fresh chopped chives or parsley for extra color.
