- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.
- Stir in garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in diced tomatoes, beef broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
- Add orzo pasta, reduce heat, and simmer uncovered for 10-12 minutes, until pasta is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Adjust seasoning as needed and serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

- You can add chopped spinach or zucchini for extra veggies.
- Use vegetable broth for a vegetarian version.
- Top with grated Parmesan cheese before serving for extra flavor.
