Instructions
- In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg
- Add in melted butter, eggs, and the yeast mixture; knead until a smooth dough forms
- Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled in size
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
- Shape the dough into a loaf or desired shape and place on a baking sheet
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown
- Allow to cool, then decorate with icing and sprinkles for a festive look
