- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 2 ounces silver tequila
- 1 ounce fresh lime juice
- 0.5 ounce simple syrup
- Ice cubes
- Fresh blackberries and mint for garnish
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle blackberries until well mashed.
- Add tequila, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice to the shaker.
- Shake vigorously until chilled and combined.
- Strain into a glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with fresh blackberries and a sprig of mint.
Notes
Use ripe blackberries for the best flavor. Adjust sweetness with more or less simple syrup. For a non-alcoholic version, substitute tequila with sparkling water.
